RugsIII/Case Mix

As the MDS assessment is being entered, the RUGS III score will automatically update as the information is saved. This automation ensures that the numerous reports generated by C.E.I. 2000 are always accurate and up to date with the current resident information.

Reports for Medicare PPS give you the critical information your billing department needs for the entire facility or an individual resident. Grouping your residents based on RUGS III Scores or Name is easily accomplished. Reports identify the exact items on the MDS that contribute to the resident's RUGS III score.

Billing information such as Assessment Reference Date, HIPPS Code, Billable Days, and PPS Daily Rate are calculated as Medicare assessments are completed. This information can then be used to assist with accurate billing for Medicare.
